Sofia Carson rocked a dramatic black gown to attend the premiere of Netflix’s “Carry On” in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old’s stunning ensemble featured voluminous bubble sleeves and an extra-long train. Carson wore the enormous piece like a robe above a black midi dress. The actor also went all-out with her jewels selection for the night. Carson wore a dazzling ruby and diamond necklace, paired with oval-shaped earrings featuring a huge gemstone in the middle.

Carson completed the ensemble with a pair of black pointed-toe stilettos. Meanwhile, the star’s glam was equally dramatic as she rocked sharply winged retro-style eyeliner and a nude shade of lipgloss. Carson’s hair was also pulled back in a sleek bun with her signature side parting.

Recently, the actor touched on her penchant for delivering a serious fashion moment. Sofia Carson graced the digital cover of the new PEOPLE StyleWatch issue. She said, “I love creating a moment out of every time I step onto a carpet.” Carson shared, “We have a running joke in my team that if ever it says cocktail, it’s definitely not going to be cocktail. I love drama.” The Netflix star also revealed during the interview that Audrey Hepburn has always been her “guiding light in terms of everything regarding fashion and style.” Carson noted, “So I always, always gravitate towards timeless, elegance, chic.”
