I’m back again with my @si_swimsuit family! This is not a come back and I’m not in a race with anyone but always excited and honored to be invited to shoot for SI Swim. This year is more of a realization by reflecting on the last 7 years when I started with SI Swim. Women are always amazing and our bodies are especially amazing after a baby! This isn’t a bounce back story but my journey the past 7-years coming in as a 22 year old who thought she knew everything, and now a mother of my own little baby! I’ve recently took a close look at my photos and the physical changes year-to-year. There are years where I thought I was too thin and others that I truly felt fat. I remember the 'fat' shoots because of the physical feeling I was experiencing. I became aware that I had not been eating properly when I was trying to capture the 'running' shot on the beach and I did not have the energy or stamina to pull it off. Eating the wrong foods also impacted by skin and hair. Now I realize that looking good and feeling good should go hand-in-hand or should I say mind and body. Now that I am a mother, I can honestly say that I never felt better. I am strong mentally and physically which is what I was trying to achieve the entire time. I am still breastfeeding so I am still a little 'plump'. My skin is still loose too. However, I am strong, healthy and happy and that is what life is all about.
