The Best Fashion Discounts

  • Best Fashion Discounts

Scoring a good fashion deal is as exhilarating as winning the lottery. The work that goes into hunting for the perfect designer discount piece is an art, and thankfully, there are more than enough retailers out there to help us on our journey. From The Outnet to Nordstrom Rack, here are the best discounted fashion websites to check out whether you’re on the hunt for a deal or simply bored and want to peruse. Fingers crossed you strike gold.

Depop

Depop launched in 2011 and is based in London, but has become a shopping force in America, especially for the Gen Z-ers. The shopping platform is modeled like Instagram: Users have profile pages that serve as a storefront where you can post photos and descriptions of the product you’re selling and others can “heart” or buy the item if they like it. Depop has attracted sellers like YouTubers Emma Chamberlain and Marzia Bisognin—some of the most popular faces around. Click for shop

Nordstrom Rack

Didn’t find what you were looking for on Nordstrom? You may want to check out its outlet counterpart Nordstrom Rack. This discounted site sells clothes no long sold at the store for lower prices. It takes some hunting around but once you find a good deal, the feeling is priceless. Click for shop

What Goes Around Comes Around

Celebrities like Kim Kardashian and influencers like Danielle Bernstein love What Goes Around Comes Around for its tight-knit curation of extremely one-of-a-kind finds. The retailer carries everything from luxury apparel to accessories, ensuring you get a variety. Click for shop

Amuze

Don’t have time to browse through all the discounted options on a traditional website? Amuze will post its finds via Instagram Stories and you can directly DM the retailer that you want the item and they will send you an invoice. (Yet another way to make browing your Insta even more addicting.) Click for shop

Poshmark

Poshmark launched in 2011 and has since grown to over seven million sellers. You can buy and sell clothing from boutiques or from your own closet. Bachelor fans can find alums like Lauren Bushnell selling items directly from her closet. Click for shop

YOOX

This online mecca offers more discounted items than we could possibly imagine (really, we once scrolled through 24 pages of black pumps). The knockout prices and impressive designer lineup make it a must visit. Click for shop

Thredup

Got a pair of brand-new designer shoes that you don’t want to keep, but can’t bear to give away? Enter Thredup. Operating just like a brick-and-mortar store, Thredup supplies you with a free clean-out bag to send your stuff in. If they like your goods, they’ll pay you up to 80 percent of resale value on consignment. Click for shop

Vestiaire Collective

Fashion people live here because the way it works is other fashion people unload their not-even-that-old castoffs here, where it’s quality-checked and authenticated. (Not that we’d ever tolerate fakes, psh.) Product moves fast, though, so you have to be swift as the coursing river, as the Disney song goes. Click for shop

Beacon’s Closet

The Manhattan and Brooklyn locations house hidden gems, so you’d expect the same from the online shop, wouldn’t you? You’d be right and even righter if you predicted that the wares are sorted by aesthetic, such as “lunch uptown” and “Studio 54.” Free domestic shipping for orders over $150, too. Nice. Click for shop

Heroine

If your vibe is more *alternative* than prairie dresses and chinoiserie jackets, this site carries niche-r brands such as Alyx, Undercover, and Hussein Chalyan. Click for shop

The Outnet

If super-luxe designer gear is your thing, then The Outnet.com should be your homepage. An offshoot of Net-a-Porter, The Outnet not only features heavily discounted designer wear (think Chloé, Alexander Wang, Marni, and Stella McCartney), they also have their own in-house label and frequently partner with top-notch designers on limited-edition collections. Click for shop

Barneys Warehouse

The sale that saw New Yorkers lining up at dawn (and coming to fisticuffs over Proenza Schouler purses) has made the journey online. Previously a physical sale that occurred twice a year, BarneysWarehouse.com features designer wares for women, men, kids, and the home, and offers complimentary shipping on all orders. Click for shop

Century 21

If you’re a Sex and the City fan, then you’ve most likely heard of Century 21. Considered the mecca of designer outlets, C21stores.com features many of the same discounted pieces as the physical stores, but without the long lines and tiring searches. Including men’s, women’s, and children’s wear, this is one online destination you want to visit before splurging on those expensive heels. Click for shop

Gilt

We’ve been Gilt devotees for years, and why the anxiety leading up to a sale can get a little stressful, enjoying your shopping rewards is not. The unique site, which features flash sales, operates on a first come, first served basis, and offers sales on kids, men, home, experiences, and travel. Click for shop

Neiman Marcus’ Last Call

Neiman Marcus’ Last Call website is something of a hidden secret. Featuring discounted designer wares from Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Cusp.com, the site offers a daily deal where bargains can be scooped up with extra discounted prices, as well as a Clearance section, where another 50 percent of the price can be saved! Click for shop

Saks Off 5th

Saksoff5th.com brings the discounts normally found at Saks Off 5th stores. Featuring flash sales, designer spotlights, trend selections, and more than half off designer wares found in Saks Fifth Avenue stores. Click for shop

RueLaLa

Even if you aren’t in the mood to shop, RueLaLa is sure to have something that will inspire you to buy. From Prada and Valentino to Longchamp, RueLaLa operates on a flash sale basis, where discounted goods are only available for a certain amount of time—normally 24 hours! Click for shop

The Real Real

After spotting two awesome buys on two stylish friends (Céline snakeskin wedges, anyone?), we had to check out TheRealReal. The company is known for its authentication processes on luxury items and its constant new arrivals. I currently have my eye on Fendi’s baguette bags, which there are no shortages of. Click for shop

United Apparel Liquidators

I don’t know how sound a business model of “give designer goods away for practically nothing” is, but BOY, am I glad they’re doing it. With several brick-and-mortar shops that are as marvelous as they are fatal (for your bottom line), it is even worse (again, for your bottom line), that they’ve got a website stocking deeply discounted Proenza Schouler and Dries and Delpozo. Groan. Click for shop

Luxury Garage Sale

Looking for pre-loved designer gear and vintage wares online? Head to Luxury Garage Sale, which delivers beautiful, pre-loved designer pieces without the hassle of sifting through musty thrift stores. With pieces from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and YSL, this is one online stop a designer-loving gal has to check out. Click for shop
