Saoirse Ronan attended the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations Presents “The Outrun” in Los Angeles on November 18, 2024.

The event featured a screening of the film followed by a conversation with Ronan. “The Outrun,” based on the best-selling memoir by Amy Liptrot, is a brutally honest drama about addiction and recovery, strength and survival, mental health, and the ability of the sea, the land, and people to restore life and renew hope. Ronan’s involvement in the project was deeply personal, as she drew on her own experiences to bring depth to her role.
