Malala Yousafzai at the “Bread & Roses” Premiere [11-14-2024]

Malala Yousafzai attended the Los Angeles premiere of the documentary “Bread & Roses” at the Hammer Museum on November 14, 2024.

The film, produced by Jennifer Lawrence and Justine Ciarrocchi, and directed by Sahra Mani, offers a powerful depiction of the struggles and resilience of Afghan women under Taliban rule. Yousafzai, who is an executive producer on the project, was joined by Lawrence, Ciarrocchi, and Mani at the event.
