With all of the controversy about cultural appropriation such as the recent criticism of Justin Bieber’s corn rows, why is it that Kim Kardashian gets a free pass to increasing darken her skin? She has transformed her skin color and now impersonates a black woman! Why is this acceptable and not cultural appropriation? She continues getting darker in every photo.
On the other side of cultural appropriation, why is it okay for black women to dye their hair blond such as Beyonce, Ciara, Mary J. Blige and Nicki Minaj to name a few? Why isn’t this cultural appropriation?
