Katy Perry announced on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that the current season of “American Idol” will likely be her last. She stated, “I think this probably will be my last show, my last season for ‘Idol'” and expressed her desire to put her energy into new projects, including what sounded like a long-awaited next album.
