The Met Gala’s slogan in this year was “The Line of Beauty”, what is, in my biased mind, turned into “The Epicentre of Beauty”, because of Julia Garner. She was majestic in a custom Gucci white silk gown, with pearls, and a velvet crystal-embellished cape. Very hard to recognize the reckless-redneck-offender (aka Ruth Langmore) in this highest class appearance. Much more resembles like the Fake German Heiress (aka Anna Sorokina), who is always so stylish, even at the criminal court, just without any of Sorokina’s fakeness. It’s hard to find the right words, yet she reminds me of a white rose glistening in the morning dew. Infinitely delicate, elegant, and ethereal. Almost supernatural like an angel. I’m so grateful to fate, that she became an actor (therefore, visible in films, series, and public events), not a stockbroker’s secretary in NYC Financial District (where she would be unvisible for a mere mortal like me)!
