Ji-young Yoo attended the Variety Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch Brunch at the Parker Palm Springs on January 5, 2024. The event celebrated up-and-coming talent and honored individuals such as Penelope Cruz, Yorgos Lanthimos, and Eric Roth with Creative Impact Awards in Acting, Directing, and Screenwriting, respectively. Additionally, the event celebrated Variety’s list of 10 Directors to Watch, which included emerging filmmakers such as Blitz Bazawule, Ilker Catak, Sophie Dupuis, Cord Jefferson, Titus Kaphar, Kobi Libii, Aaron Schimberg, Ena Sendijarevic, and Eva Trobisch. The festival continued with screenings of numerous films from around the world and several programs through January 15, 2024.
