Ortega channels Wednesday vibes in custom David Koma gown with striking silver buckle detail at “Death of a Unicorn” premiere.

Jenna Ortega brought her signature dark elegance to New York City on Tuesday at the premiere of A24’s “Death of a Unicorn.” The 22-year-old actress, who’s become fashion’s favorite gothic muse since her turn as Wednesday Addams, commanded attention in a custom David Koma creation that perfectly balanced sleek sophistication with edgy details.

The strapless black dress featured an asymmetrical neckline accentuated by a statement silver buckle that caught the light as Ortega moved across the red carpet at AMC Lincoln Theater. A daring thigh-high slit added drama to the ensemble, while Christian Louboutin Bilougiela pumps completed the monochromatic moment.
Ortega’s styling choices reflected the thoughtful restraint of a fashion veteran – side-parted straight hair framed her face while minimal accessories (delicate silver earrings and a few rings) allowed the architectural elements of the dress to take center stage. Her makeup intensified the gothic aesthetic with a sharp winged liner and nude gloss, creating a look that was both editorial and effortlessly cool.
The star, who appears alongside Paul Rudd in the horror-comedy premiering March 28, has previously acknowledged how her Wednesday character has influenced her personal style, embracing darker aesthetics in her everyday wardrobe.
What do you think about Jenna’s evolution as a fashion icon? Is her gothic-inspired style setting trends for a new generation, or is she simply bringing timeless dark glamour back into the spotlight? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
