Hannah Waddingham at Olivier Awards 2024 in London

Hannah Waddingham, known for her roles in “Ted Lasso,” “Kiss Me Kate,” and “Spamalot,” returned as the host for the Olivier Awards 2024, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Waddingham, an Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, had previously hosted the awards in 2023 and received praise for her performance.

The Olivier Awards 2024 eligibility period for nominations was for productions across all main theatre categories, as well as dance, opera, family, and affiliate categories, with shows opening between February 15, 2023, and February 27, 2024.

The nominations for the 2024 Olivier Awards were announced on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Waddingham opened the event performing with singer and pianist Joe Stilgoe.
