Ella Purnell is set to star in the upcoming “Fallout” series, which is scheduled to be released on Prime Video on April 12. In the series, Purnell portrays the character Lucy, an optimistic Vault Dweller with an all-American, can-do spirit. Her character’s peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when her loved ones are harmed. The show, based on the popular video game franchise, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the future envisioned in the late 1940s explodes upon itself. Alongside Purnell, the series also stars Walton Goggins as “The Ghoul,” Kyle MacLachlan as “Overseer Hank,” and Aaron Moten as “Maximus,” a young soldier serving in the Brotherhood of Steel. The “Fallout” series is being produced by Amazon Studios and features a talented team of creatives, including Jonathan Nolan, Athena Wickham, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner, among others.
