The creative director for Chanel, Virginie Viard, designed a white silk-chiffon top and long skirt. Both the top and the skirt featured pleating and were embroidered with shard beads and crystals. Roughly 5,000 embroidered elements were used in the construction of the dress, requiring 961 hours of handwork. The result was a vivacious and classic look that aligned with Morrone’s overall vibe. Morrone and her stylist, Sandra Amador, have been collaborating for about two years. They aim to create looks that are both timeless and youthful, embodying a blend of classic and playful elegance. The simplicity of Morrone’s personal aesthetic, which leans towards minimalism and simplicity, was complemented by the understated accessories chosen for this occasion: Chanel heels in white and black satin, and jewelry by Brilliant Earth, a San Francisco-based company that specializes in ethically sourced stones. The minimalistic approach allowed the intricate details and embellishments of the dress to shine.
