America Ferrera made an entrance at the 81st Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on January 7, 2024, wearing a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown. The silver sequin piece featured dangly pearl embellishments throughout, plus silver shoulder straps also lined with round white pearls. She paired the gown with matching silver Dolce & Gabbana heels, a two-strand white diamond necklace, and cascading diamond earrings by Harry Winston. The look was put together by stylist Karla Welch. For glam, the actor wore subtle maroon eye shadow, black liner, a berry lip, and a sleek side-parted bob curled up at the ends. The Ugly Betty star was nominated in nine categories at the Globes, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role, and Best Original Song – Motion.
