After I saw this post here some weeks ago, I immediately bought this issue on eBay, and I read the article about Maude’s New York City apartment, which is located in Manhattan, more closely in the West Village, where her parents also have one. It is clear from the writing that she searched for her dream home “through several years”, which is an only one (!) bedroom pre-war flat with a working fireplace. She wasn’t petty when she needed to spend needfully on the interior. She hired the SoHo Design (home decor department of SoHo House) for the general implementation while she added some personal touches to the final result, like a Gucci floral wallpaper in the ante-room for example. She used marble stuff everywhere: the sink and the bathtub in the bathroom, a cocktail table in the drawing room, and panels in the kitchen (see the first photo). No need to tell, that the result is sophisticated, tasteful, feminine, and posh, which perfectly reflects Miss Apatow’s inner, and also outer qualities! The two pictures that feature her are flawless illustrations of her exquisite taste: in the elegant all black DIOR dress, or the weekdays jeans, dotted blouse attire she is equally delightful, like her fairytale home!
