Cate Blanchett attended the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards at The Royal Festival Hall in London, England, on February 18, 2024. She presented the Leading Actor Award to Cillian Murphy during the ceremony. Blanchett wore a burgundy open-back sleeveless gown in compact crepe jersey sourced from Louis Vuitton’s existing patrimonial stock with a leather high collar. She also wore a unique, repurposed Louis Vuitton High Jewelry necklace that was born from the collaboration between Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry, Francesca Amfitheatrof, and Blanchett. The creation gave a second life to the pearls from Blanchett’s 2023 BAFTA High Jewelry design, while the stones and materials were sourced from five archival High Jewelry creations.
