At the Longchamp Jeremy Scott exhibit in SoHo on May 26, 2026, Zoey Deutch wore a metallic tweed two-piece with Paris Texas mules, and the proportions spark debate.
I’m not fully convinced.
At the Longchamp Jeremy Scott retrospective at La Maison Unique in SoHo on May 26, 2026, Zoey Deutch stepped into a coordinated Longchamp two-piece that wants to be both polished and playful. The event marked the 20th anniversary of the brand’s partnership with Jeremy Scott, complete with a drone delivery moment for a new Le Pliage bag, so the setting leaned theatrical. Her look, though, sits somewhere between showroom and after-hours.
The set itself is a dark gray tweed-style fabric shot through with metallic silver threading, which catches light almost aggressively against the mint-green wall. The boxy jacket features a classic pointed collar, button front, and slightly voluminous sleeves that gather into structured cuffs. It’s cut oversized through the shoulders, giving that borrowed-from-the-boys line. Underneath, she layered a minimal black triangle bralette, leaving the jacket open and creating a deliberate strip of midriff.
Then there’s the matching high-waisted mini skirt, cut short and fitted through the hips. The texture mirrors the jacket, so from afar it reads cohesive. Up close, the metallic flecks give it a busy surface. And here’s where I hesitate. The jacket is roomy and textured. The skirt is short and textured. The bralette adds exposure. It’s a lot happening at once.
Her accessories pull in different directions. She carried the Longchamp Le Pliage Xtra Bag in black leather with dual top handles, structured and understated. On her feet were Paris Texas Lidia Mules, black peep-toe kitten heels that feel clean and modern. The shoes are probably the strongest choice here. They keep the outfit from tipping fully into costume.
There’s also eyewear in play – Ray-Ban Rb4457D Bio-Based Sunglasses – which nod to the playful spirit of the exhibit without competing with the metallic tweed. Still, the overall effect leans more toward statement than subtle.

This is technically a brand launch-adjacent cocktail night, not a formal gala, so the abbreviated skirt and bralette make sense in that context. And Deutch has long been a reliable Longchamp fixture at events like this. But proportionally, I find myself wishing one element dialed back. Either close the jacket and let the fabric shine, or keep the bralette and switch to a sleeker bottom. Right now, the pieces fight a bit.
In the broader arc of celebrity style, we’re seeing more actresses lean into boxy tailoring with visible skin, a kind of post-minimalist contrast. It works best when there’s a clear focal point. Here, the eye bounces between sparkle, cut, and texture without a pause.
For more examples of Zoey Deutch in metallic Longchamp styling, this look shows she’s willing to take risks. And within current celebrity street style adjacent event dressing, tweed minis are definitely circulating.
I’m landing at 6/10 – bold, yes, but slightly overworked in execution. The mules save it from going off the rails.
