But I’m not fully convinced by it. The proportions are dramatic, sure, yet the outfit starts to feel top-heavy once your eye drops below the jacket. The dark pointed flats or low shoes keep things sleek, but they don’t really push the look anywhere new. Strong jacket, quieter finish. Maybe too quiet.

The bag helps. It’s a structured dark handbag tucked under the arm, and it’s one of the only pieces here with enough shape to hold its own against the outerwear. Same with the sunglasses – small, sharp, a little severe. I might be wrong, but without those two accessories this would’ve drifted into bulky-and-done territory.

Rihanna can obviously carry a riskier silhouette than most people could’ve, and that’s part of why this still registers. If you spend time in celebrity street style, you’ll notice plenty of oversized leather right now, but not all of it earns this much room. This one almost does.

I’d keep the jacket and rethink the finish.
