Olivia Wilde layers a black Prada blazer over cropped white denim, creating a sharp premiere contrast that becomes less convincing around the waist.
Olivia Wilde rejected conventional premiere dressing for I Want Your Sex in Los Angeles, choosing a black Prada blazer over a cropped white denim jacket and matching jeans. The contrast is immediate and the tailoring is confident, but the middle layer makes the proportion harder than it needs to be.
The blazer provides the strongest line. Broad shoulders, long sleeves and a clean single-breasted front give Olivia Wilde in Prada premiere styling a controlled black frame. Beneath it, the white denim jacket introduces a pointed collar, metal buttons and a cropped hem that exposes a narrow section of waist above the jeans.
That visible break is intended to separate the two white pieces, yet it also creates the outfit’s main problem. The short jacket ends where the blazer is still falling vertically, leaving several competing edges around the torso. Worn without the denim layer, the black-and-white combination would be cleaner; worn without the blazer, the cropped set would read more decisively.

The slim white jeans and black pointed pumps restore order below the waist. Their narrow line keeps this celebrity red carpet look from becoming overwhelmed by the layered upper half, while Jessica McCormack earrings add detail without introducing another visible color.
This earns a 7 out of 10. The Prada tailoring and monochrome contrast are strong, but the cropped denim jacket complicates the exact area the blazer should clarify.
