Julia Garner was seen for the first time on the set of Fantastic Four: First Steps in Los Angeles on May 6, 2025. The Ozark actress, taking on the role of Shalla-Bal—the female version of Silver Surfer—stood atop jagged rocks as waves crashed around her, filming what appeared to be a pivotal moment in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster.

Garner wore a white and blue-patterned dress with cape-like details, evoking an ethereal presence against the ocean backdrop. The film, directed by Matt Shakman, stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, and Joseph Quinn, with the Fantastic Four facing off against Galactus and his enigmatic Herald.

Julia Garner looks like a goddess in this full figure white and ice blue gown and white veil cape! Her snow white skin, her steel blue eyes, her shoulder long, blonde straight hair, and definite shape face makes her perfect choice for the role! (Despite the comics fans grumbling about that Silver surfer is a man, originally!) Julia’s ethereal figure and moves certainly will be stunning on the silver screen! I can’t wait to see it!
