Joey King Unveils Chic Tailoring at Montblanc

She wore an outfit at the Vassia Kostara spring collection, styled by Jared Eng, that went all the way to texture and proportion. The polo was a cotton knit olive polo with a slight rhombus pattern, the khaki pants had front pleats, side-pockets and inner contrast piping on the waistband. These baggy and tailored trousers were just right, both in terms of comfort and workmanship, resulting in a flowing modern cut. Both of the pieces belong to the spring 2025 line by Kostara that focuses on nature-sourced materials and heritage tailoring done in Mediterranean shades.

King balanced the softer and fitted appearance in white Tod loafers. This basic pair of calfskin loafers had the signature clamp by the brand, a low block heel, round toe and clean stitching. The highly polished metal bar on the upper, which was synonymous with the elegant design of Tod, was in a certain way a reference to the equestrian roots of the label. These silent edifice-makers were made in Italy and added weight to her otherwise soft appearance and were a textural corrective to the knitwear above.

Jewelry remained sparse, with sculptural pieces by Mara Paris. Polly Osmond did her natural-toned makeup, and her clean middle-part hair was done by Ilham Mestour. Sugar Ferrini did the tailoring of the look.

The Milan look is another acute point in the style run of King. Although she has a reputation of red carpet dresses and statement heels, her recent appearances have been more sensible flats and smart separates. This was followed by a customized Max Mara outfit last fall when she was the recipient of the Face of the Future Award by the brand. Two days before the Montblanc event, she sat front row at Max Mara Resort 2026 in Milan, which was a continuation of a week of high fashion but down-to-earth fashion.

The event was called Montblanc Let s Write and it marked the renewed partnership between Montblanc and Wes Anderson, who created a new short film in his unique visual language that praises the art of writing. The newly released movie is based on the heritage of the Meisterstuck pen by Montblanc and features Anderson and Rupert Friend, Michael Cera, Waris Ahluwalia and Esther McGregor.
