Isa Briones greeted Just in Time fans outside the Circle in the Square in New York, April 2026, in a floral rhinestone crop top and black capri leggings. The shoes are the talking point.
There’s a version of this public appearance look that works. The pale ice-blue crop top with its rhinestone-and-embroidered floral motif is actually kind of sweet — vintage-adjacent in a way that suits a Broadway fan meet outside the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City this April. But then you get to the bottom half, and the whole thing starts to wobble.
Isa Briones showed up to greet fans of Just in Time in black capri-length leggings — the kind that cut off mid-calf, which is arguably the trickiest hem length in casual dressing. Crop length at the top, crop length at the bottom. It’s a lot of cropping happening at once, and I’m not convinced both decisions needed to be made on the same day.
The shoes are the part I keep coming back to. Pink block-heeled mule sandals — open toe, strap across the front, chunky sole. In isolation, they might’ve worked with something. Here, against the black leggings and the soft floral top, they feel like they wandered in from a different outfit entirely. The color disconnect is real. A white sneaker or even a simple black sandal would’ve tied this together without asking so many questions.
What does land: the accessories. A pearl or beaded bracelet on her right wrist adds a softness that actually echoes the floral detailing on the top. Small thing, but it’s doing more cohesion work than anything else in the look. Her hair — loose, voluminous curls — feels intentionally stage-adjacent, which makes sense given the event appearance context outside a Broadway house.
But I’d be stretching to call this a polished celebrity event look. It reads more like someone who came straight from rehearsal and grabbed the nearest shoes on the way out. Which, honestly? For a fan meet outside a theatre, might not be the worst crime. Still — the legging-and-crop-top combo paired with those pink mules could’ve used one more look in the mirror before heading out.
Would you swap the capri leggings for wide-leg trousers, or lean further into the casual direction and just commit to full athleisure?
