Dixie D’Amelio for Slimi Magazine Revival Issue June 2026

Dixie D'Amelio posing in a metallic bra and faux-fur coat for Slimi Magazine The Revival Issue, June 2026

Dixie D’Amelio led Slimi Magazine The Revival Issue in a retro fashion photoshoot with metallic lingerie, faux fur, black tailoring, and one strong old-Hollywood beauty shift.

This is a full style pivot.

For Slimi Magazine and The Revival Issue in June 2026, Dixie D’Amelio moved through a multi-look photoshoot built around retro rooms, dramatic styling, and a very deliberate blonde transformation. The feature works best when it leans into contrast: hard shine against soft fur, sheer black fabric against old wood, structured tailoring against motel-bedroom stillness. In Dixie D’Amelio in editorial styling, the clothes aren’t just styling props. They set the whole rhythm.

Dixie D’Amelio in Metallic Bra and Faux-Fur Coat – Lounge Drama

The first Slimi cover look is the loudest, and not just because of the oversized Dalmatian-print faux-fur coat. The glossy pewter underwire bra has a liquid-metal finish that catches the light across the cups, while the black micro-shorts and sheer black tights pull the lower half into a darker register. Add the baker boy cap, stacked silver cross pendant, and towering metallic platform sandals, and the styling lands somewhere between backstage performer and vintage nightlife character.

The fur is doing the framing here. Its heavy volume makes the exposed torso look sharper, not softer, and the chair pose gives the whole look a controlled stillness. What I like is the tension between the relaxed slouch of the coat and the almost armored shine of the bra. The cap could’ve pushed this into costume territory, but the pale blonde waves spilling underneath keep it from feeling too rigid.

Dixie D’Amelio in Black Mesh Bodysuit – Bedroom Noir

The second cover setup switches the mood without losing the same period-coded styling language. Dixie wears a black mesh bodysuit with structured cup detailing under a fluid black robe, while strappy black sandals keep the leg line clean. The robe falls open in soft panels, and the thin pale trim along the edges gives the black fabric some definition against the dark room.

This is where the beauty look matters most. The curled blonde hair, smoked-out eye makeup, and dark lip create a stronger face than the first cover, more direct and less playful. The hand holding the lighter adds a small narrative charge, but the fashion point is still the layering. Sheer fabric can flatten quickly in editorial lighting. Here, the robe gives it depth, and the bedside setting makes the black styling feel deliberate rather than random.

Dixie D’Amelio in Gray Sparkle Suiting – Office Tension

The gray look might be the most interesting cut in the set. Dixie wears a cropped, sparkle-flecked jacket with a black collar and a matching pleated skirt, paired with black tights and silver mule-style shoes finished with large rosette details. The top half is compact and tailored. The skirt opens into pleats, which gives the look movement even while she’s posed still.

That rosette shoe is the detail that almost steals the frame. It brings a decorative, slightly theatrical note to a look that otherwise depends on straight lines and dark office-room tension. The two suited figures beside her heighten the fashion contrast, but the styling doesn’t need them to explain itself. My only hesitation is the shoe scale. It’s memorable, yes, but it competes hard with the skirt and jacket instead of letting the tailoring breathe.

Dixie D’Amelio in Black Shirt and Silver Skirt – Soft Utility

The fourth look is quieter, and that restraint helps. Dixie sits on a bed in a black short-sleeve button-front shirt tucked into a gathered silver skirt with a crinkled surface. The shirt has a practical, almost uniform-like cut, while the skirt brings in shine, volume, and a softer pull across the lap. Pointed black shoes finish it without adding another loud idea.

This is the look that feels easiest to translate into real-life dressing. Black shirt, silver skirt, clean shoe – simple parts, better together than expected. The styling doesn’t push as hard as the cover images, but it gives the fashion spread a necessary pause. Not every frame needs a giant accessory or a skin-baring layer. Sometimes one material shift is enough.

Dixie D’Amelio in Strapless Black Mini and White Gloves – Old-Hollywood Remix

The final setup goes full retro with a strapless black mini dress, white opera gloves, sheer black tights, and pointed black shoes. The shape is graphic and simple: bare shoulders, strong glove line, crossed legs, and one curled section of hair falling near her eye. Against the warm wall and desk lamp, the black dress cuts a clean block of negative space.

The gloves are the risk. They instantly push the look into character styling, but that seems to be the point of this fashion photoshoot. Without them, the black mini would be too plain for the concept. With them, the frame has a sharper vintage reference, especially beside the cream phone and green desk lamp. It also gives the set one of its clearest beauty shots, even without a true close portrait.

The Slimi feature was photographed by Tyler Patrick Kenny, styled by All Three Heathers, and shot inside a vintage residential framework at Our Home Studios in Los Angeles. That context matters because the clothes are built for rooms, not a step-and-repeat. The styling plays with domestic spaces as if they’re stages, which suits a feature centered on public image, creative transition, and controlled reinvention.

Across the full editorial, the blonde waves by Greg Glenn Jr. are the thread that holds every outfit together. They soften the metallic bra, sharpen the black mesh, and make the gray suiting feel less corporate. In modern celebrity photos, that kind of beauty continuity often matters as much as the clothes.

If you had to keep one direction from this spread, would you choose the metallic-fur drama or the black-glove minimalism?

An 8/10 feels right here – not every look is equally strong, but the best frames have a clear point of view. The faux-fur cover and the black mesh bedroom look are the ones that stay in the room after you leave it.
