At the Crime 101 world premiere in Los Angeles in February 2026, Crosby Fitzgerald wore a black off-shoulder mini dress with satin bows and sheer tights – a look that almost works.
I’m not fully sold on this one. Crosby Fitzgerald attended the Crime 101 world premiere in Los Angeles, California, USA, on February 11, 2026, in a black red carpet mini that has one clear idea and then doesn’t do much else with it.
The dress sits off the shoulders with a straight neckline and long fitted sleeves, and the satin bows placed high on each side are clearly meant to be the focal point. Fair enough. They add shape, and they break up what would otherwise be a very plain black line through the bodice. The fit is close and clean, the hem is short, and the sheer black tights keep the whole thing visually continuous from dress to shoe.
But that’s also the problem. Once you get past the bows, the look gets pretty quiet. The black peep-toe shoes don’t really lift it, and the rest of the styling feels more serviceable than memorable. I might be wrong, but this is one of those celebrity look situations where the hair and makeup do almost as much work as the designer outfit itself, and that’s usually a sign the clothes needed one more good decision.
And yes, the proportions are fine. The neckline is flattering, the sleeves are sleek, and nothing is actively off. If you spend enough time in celebrity red carpet coverage, though, you know “fine” and “worth remembering” aren’t the same thing.
The bows carry it. Barely.
