At the Canneseries photocall in Cannes, Camille Razat chose a blue Miu Miu check set with buckle-strap sneakers and dark sunglasses, and the sporty styling feels very current right now.
Sporty Miu Miu still has momentum.
At the Canneseries Festival in Cannes on April 25, 2026, Camille Razat in Miu Miu leaned fully into that polished-sporty lane brands keep circling back to right now. Her blue micro-check top and matching midi skirt came from the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2026 collection, finished with dark navy piping that cut across the outfit in curved lines instead of keeping everything neat and expected.
The proportions are what make this photo call style work. The fitted short-sleeve top stays close to the body, while the wrap-style skirt softens the shape a bit lower down. And then come the white buckle-strap sneakers – somewhere between a Mary Jane and a retro trainer – which stop the outfit from drifting too proper. Honestly, heels would’ve made this much less interesting.
Her dark cat-eye sunglasses and chunky gold ring keep the styling sharp without piling on extra accessories. There’s also a slightly Y2K-adjacent feel to the whole thing, especially with the sporty trim and checked fabric pushing against the cleaner skirt length.
Razat plays Mathilde de La Mole in the new adaptation of Le Rouge et le Noir, directed by Gaël Morel, and this lighter Miu Miu look fits the festival setting better than a heavier tailored option would’ve.
Would you keep the sneaker styling, or swap in pointed shoes for a cleaner finish?
The buckle straps are the whole argument here.
And this softer sporty direction keeps celebrity style moving away from rigid tailoring for now.
