A quieter shoe would have allowed the purple and green contrast to remain the main styling argument.
The large gold pendant is more successful. Its curved shape sits alone against the exposed neckline, adding warmth without introducing a new color family. That restraint is missing elsewhere in this celebrity street style look.
Taylor-Joy was in New York promoting Lucky, and the outfit has the deliberate intensity of a press-tour wardrobe rather than an ordinary off-duty combination. The individual pieces are lively. Together, they compete more than they converse.
